English is the international language, a powerful and effective tool tohelpacceleratetheprocess of integration and cooperation to develop the country. However, the quality of English teaching in education and training institutions in general and lower secondary schools in particular is low. One of the causes of the situation just mentioned is that the quality of English teachers in secondary schools is limited and inadequate, not meeting the requirements of the Europe standard language capacity reference frame. The article refers to measures to strengthen professional training for English teachers in secondary schools today.
