In the university environment, to achieve effective acquisition and comprehension of knowledge, it is important that each student must explore and equip himself with learning methods that are suitable for his own psychological characteristics and the characteristics of each subject. Active learning methods are the key to help students achieve high results, form systematic thinking and solve practical problems in the most scientific way. One of the active teaching methods is the group discussion method, used in teaching and learning at Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment. This article analyzes the use of group work methods at Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment.
