During their university studies, students not only acquire knowledge but also actively participate in many activities and part-time jobs. Students’ jobs can affect their physical or mental health as well as their academic performance. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between part-time jobs, health and academic performance. The majority of students at the Academy of Journalism and Propaganda (61%) have part-time jobs. The average working time is 18 hours/week. Most students (76%) believe that the main reason for having a job is the financial need to earn extra income to support their families and pay for incidental expenses. Most students chose simple part-time jobs that are unrelated to their future careers. According to students, the reason for their insomnia is the difficulty in combining work and study, which negatively affects their physical and mental health and affects their academic performance (44%).
