Violence against children, especially in the educational environment, is a serious global problem that affects all levels of society. School violence can occur at all levels of education, from preschool to secondary school, causing both physical and mental harm, especially gender-based violence. Equipping future preschool teachers with knowledge and skills to prevent violence is extremely necessary, because they are responsible for protecting children and building a safe educational environment. This article proposes some measures to raise awareness for students majoring in Early Childhood Education at Lai Chau College about violence prevention education, especially gender-based violence, to help them become effective and humane educators and protectors of children.
