The aim of this study is Determine the mean of the basic anthropometric data was to present the reference anthropometric data associated Evaluating the nutritional status of the Children and Adolescents aged 6 - 9 years at Thua Thien Hue by the use of nutritional anthropometric indicators. The sample is 1157 students include 592 boys and 565 girls aged 6 - 9 years. The anthrometric data collected include: body weight. Standing Height, body mass index (BMI), Weight for age Z score (WAZ), height for age Z score (HAZ), BMI for age Z score (HAZ). Aplication the SPSS software and the Anthro plus software for Statistical analysis and Evaluating the nutritional status of the child by the use of nutritional anthropometric indicators. Results obtained are the data set of anthrometric mesurement of the Children and Adolescents 6 - 9 years at Thua Thien Hue include: body weight. Standing Height, Sitting Height, body mass index (BMI), Weight for age Z score (WAZ), height for age Z score (HAZ), BMI for age Z score (BAZ). In addition, The proportion maximal of obesity and overweight was 6,7 percent. Malnutrition prevalence height for age (HAl) was: 6 years old was 10.3 percent, 7 years old was 9.3 percent, 8 years old was 12.5 percent, 9 years old was 15.4. Malnutrition prevalence BMI for age (BAZ) was : 6 years old was 20 percent, 7 years old was 25.3 percent, 8 years old was 29.9 percent, 9 years old was 25.8. Conclusion: The anthropometric data could be used as stool Evaluating the nutritional status of the Children and Adolescents is very important.
