Competence based teaching is receiving a lot of attention in vocational training and has been shown to be effective and suitable for vocational training. However, in higher education, it has not been taken into serious consideration. The question is: Is it possible to apply the conduction competence based teaching approach when teaching bachelor degree level information technology? If yes, how can it be best applied? This article proposes ways to apply a conduction competence based teaching approach when teaching bachelor degree level information technology students that contributes to teaching efficiency and meeting demands of society.
