Research objectives: to assess the orthodontic treatment need of high school students. Research methodology: cross-sectional descriptive: all students were examined and taken dental impressions, then making plaster dentition models for occlusion analyzing and measuring. Results: the orthodontic treatment need is at high rate: 76,2 percent for DHC and 64,3 percent for AC. The treatment need of class II malocclusion is the highest with 90,0 percent for DHC and 78,8 percent for AC. Conclusions: The orthodontic treatment need is at high rate. There are differences of orthodontic treatment need among types of malocclusion and the dento-alveolar disharmony ranges.
