Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang này được thực hiện nhằm đánh giá kiến thức và thái độ về phòng ngừa chuẩn của sinh viên điều dưỡng tại Trường Đại học Nguyễn Tất Thành. Khảo sát bao gồm 119 sinh viên và tập trung vào các khía cạnh như vệ sinh tay, phương tiện phòng hộ cá nhân, thực hành tiêm an toàn, vệ sinh hô hấp và vệ sinh môi trường. Kết quả cho thấy chỉ 26,9 % sinh viên có kiến thức đạt yêu cầu về PNC, trong khi 95,0 % thể hiện thái độ tích cực và sẵn sàng tuân thủ các hướng dẫn. Đáng chú ý, có sự khác biệt giới tính rõ ràng, với sinh viên nữ có kiến thức và thái độ tích cực hơn sinh viên nam. Những phát hiện này nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của việc tăng cường giáo dục và đào tạo trong lĩnh vực kiểm soát nhiễm khuẩn nhằm cải thiện kiến thức và sự tuân thủ của sinh viên trong việc thực hành phòng ngừa chuẩn, từ đó góp phần bảo vệ an toàn cho nhân viên y tế và người bệnh.This cross-sectional study was conducted to assess the knowledge and attitudes regarding standard precautions among nursing students at Nguyen Tat Thanh University. The survey included 119 students and focused on various aspects such as hand hygiene, personal protective equipment, safe injection practices, respiratory hygiene, and environmental sanitation. The results indicated that only 26.9 % of the students had adequate knowledge about standard precautions, while 95.0 % exhibited a positive attitude and readiness to adhere to guidelines. Notably, there was a clear gender difference, with female students demonstrating higher levels of knowledge and more positive attitudes than their male counterparts. These findings underscore the importance of enhancing education and training in infection control to improve knowledge and compliance among students in standard precaution practices, thereby contributing to the safety of healthcare workers and patients.
