Mathematics education creates connections between mathematical ideas, between Mathematics and practice, between Mathematics and other subjects and educational activities, especially with Science, Natural Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Technology, Informatics to implement STEM education. Therefore, developing the ability to solve practical problems in teaching the topic “Equations, exponential inequalities and logarithms” is very important and necessary. The article contributes to clarifying the typical manifestations and measures to develop students’ ability to solve practical problems when teaching this topic.
