Study was conducted with the aim of studying characteristics of imaging tomography in acute pancreatitis. From January 2011 to December 2011 at Viet Duc hospital, 130 patients indicated tomography for the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis, including male: 101 (77.7 percent), female: 29 (22.3 percent)
the average age was 47.3 + or - 11.2 (from 16-82 years old). Clinical examination: abdominal pain 100 percent, vomiting and nausea 63.1 percent, no bowel removement 89.2 percent. Test of blood amylase 660U/l: 33.8 percent
urinary amylase 1000U/l: 30.8 percent
blood glucose 6.4 mmol/l: 54.6 percent
blood calcium 2mmol/l: 30.8 percent
leukemia 10.10/mm80.8 percent. CT scanner results for classification of acute pancreatitis according to standard of Balthazar: lelvel E: 66/130 cases (50.8 percent)
level D: 43/133 (33.1 percent)
level C: 19/130 (14.6 percent)
levels A and B account for only 1.6 percent. There are 3 cases of level E and 1 case of level D operated.
