This article presents the importance of improving professional capacity for students of the Early Childhood Education College at Lai Chau College through training soft skills. In the context of educational innovation, in addition to professional knowledge, skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, problem solving and creativity are increasingly necessary for students to meet the practical requirements of the profession. The article analyzes the soft skills needed for preschool teachers and proposes measures to develop these skills, including organizing seminars, internships, participating in extracurricular activities and applying information technology in learning. Thereby, the article emphasizes the role of soft skills in helping students become more confident, improve their adaptability and meet the requirements of the current labor market.
