The speed, coordination, back and abdominal muscle strength of male students increased sharply in the 2nd and 3rd semesters. The back flexibility, back and abdominal muscle strength and leg strength of female students developed well in all 3 semesters, much higher than the average physical strength of Vietnamese people of the same age and gender. The overall endurance of male and female students developed relatively well in the 2nd semester but tended to decrease in the 3rd semester. From these results, the study proposed measures to improve the overall endurance of students at Thuyloi University, especially in the 3rd semester.
