The authors have conduct experimental liver transplantation on 23 pigs and follow-up post transplantation, the results showed: 1/ Mortality rate during operation was 43.4 percent, mainly due to blood loss during surgery. Plasma SGOT, SGPT, GGT, Bilirubin was significantly increasing in early period post transplant, especially plasma SGOT (p 0.05). All hematological parammeters, coagulation profile and plasma electrolyte was significant changes after surgery (p 0.05). Survival rate of pig after surgery was low (56.6 percent) with 29 hours in average and liver graft failed to secrete of bile was observed in allmost of cases. 2/ The common complications after surgery was: pulmonary failure due to pneumoniae or pulmonary infaction (34.8 percent) and bleeding (30.4 percent), anastomosis stenosis of hepatic vein (17.4 percent), hepatic vein embolism (13 percent).
