Development of retail banking, especially on personal credit, becomes one of prior strategies of some commercial banks in Vietnam. Therefore, Vietcombank has been determined on wholesale and retail developing strategies. After five years of making personal credit, this field at Vietcombank Nha Trang has not developed into plans and the market share in Khanh Hoa province is still low now. This research aims to evaluate the current situation of the personal credit at Vietcombank Nha Trang and to propose some solutions in order to improve it.
