Laryngeal granuloma is a benign lesion caused by chronic inflammatory procedure although clinical signs is presented like a mass. Objects: To classify the histopathology of laryngeal granuloma and compare the histopathological features with clinical characteristics. Methods: Descriptive section study. Slides are stained HE and PAS. Classifying in 3 groups. Group I: Granuloma with rich inflammatory cells. Group II: Granuloma with fibrous connective tissue and collagen fiber. Group III: Granuloma with rich of vessels. Results: 1- Histopathologic classification result: Group I (10.4 percent), group II (50.0 percent), group III (39.6 percent)
2- Histopathological feature has a correlation with disease causing and treatment prognosis. By trauma has the highest rate (35.4 percent), follow is GERD (20.8 percent). Conclusions: Group II- Granuloma with fibrous connective tissue and collagen fiber accounting 50.0 percent. Histopathological feature has a close correlation with disease causing.
