Abstract: The development of border tourism between Vietnam and China leverages the potential of border localities in both countries, gradually fostering comprehensive cooperation that aligns with the demands of international integration in the modernization era. Recently, challenges such as complex customs procedures, inadequate infrastructure and accommodations, lack of distinctive tourism products, and risks in building a sustainable tourism environment have hindered border tourism from reaching its full potential. The involvement of authorities, including Quang Ninh Province's People's Committee, the provincial Department of Tourism, and travel companies, in upgrading transport services, streamlining customs processes, and developing thematic tours (e.g., historical and cultural sites) promises to attract a growing number of tourists interested in this sector. Such efforts contribute to enhance economic, cultural, and political exchanges between Vietnam and China. Keywords: border tourism, travel companies, Quang Ninh border gates, tourism products.
