During the period of global integration, business opportunities and cooperation between businesses and businesses and between businesses and customers may increase exponentially. Electronic invoices are a bridge for such integration to become faster and more convenient. The paper analyzes the need to develop e-invoices in businesses, the benefits of using e-invoices, the current status of e-invoice policy in businesses in Vietnam today, on that facility combined with international experience in some countries to propose some solutions to complete the policy of implementing electronic invoices in businesses in Vietnam.Trong thời kỳ hội nhập toàn cầu, cơ hội kinh doanh, hợp tác giữa các doanh nghiệp với doanh nghiệp, giữa doanh nghiệp với khách hàng có thể tăng lên theo cấp số nhân. Hóa đơn điện tử là cầu nối để sự hội nhập ấy trở nên nhanh chóng, thuận tiện hơn cả. Bài viết phân tích sự cần thiết phát triển hóa đơn điện tử trong các doanh nghiệp, những lợi ích của việc sử dụng hóa đơn điện tử, thực trạng chính sách về hóa đơn điện tử trong các doanh nghiệp ở Việt Nam hiện nay, trên cơ sở đó kết hợp với kinh nghiệm quốc tế ở một số nước để đề xuất một số giải pháp nhằm hoàn thiện chính sách thực hiện hóa đơn điện tử trong các doanh nghiệp ở Việt Nam.
