Controlling state power is an indispensable requirement of the process of building a state law of socialist Vietnam. This has been affirmed in the 2013 Constitution and its legal documents, but the mechanism of power control still has many contents to be studied and completed. The article outlines the provisions of the 2013 Constitution on the mechanism of state power control and on the basis of theoretical as well as practical issues that need to be revised, supplemented, in order to build a control mechanism. effective legislative, executive and judicial powers, ensuring power belongs to the people.Kiểm soát quyền lực nhà nước là yêu cầu tất yếu của quá trình xây dựng nhà nước pháp quvền XHCN Việt Nam. Điều này đã được khẳng định trong Hiến pháp 2013 và các văn bản Luật, song cơ chế kiểm soát quyền lực vẫn còn nhiều nội dung cần nghiên cứu, hoàn thiện. Bài viết khái quát các quy định của Hiến pháp 2013 về cơ chế kiểm soát quyền lực nhà nước và trên cơ sở lý luận cũng như thực tiễn nêu những vấn đề cần xem xét sửa đổi, bổ sung, nhằm xây dựng cơ chế kiểm soát quyền lập pháp, hành pháp và tư pháp hiệu quả, bảo đảm quyền lực thuộc về nhân dân.
