Environmental control is a set of standards, processes and basic structures that create the basis for the implementation of internal control activities throughout the enterprise. As can be seen, environmental control is an essential factor to provide a relative guarantee of the organization's ability to achieve its goals, helping businesses develop sustainably. Through surveys and surveys of 98 people (accountants, members of the Supervisory Board, employees of departments / boards, directors) who are working at Lam Son Thanh Hoa Paper Joint Stock Company (hereinafter referred to as is the Company), the article analyzes the elements of the Company's environmental control, based on which assess and propose some solutions to contribute to perfecting environmental control at the Company, so that That improves the quality of setting up and operating internal control of the Company.Kiểm soát môi trường là tập hợp các tiêu chuẩn, quy trình và cấu trúc cơ sở nhằm tạo lập nền tảng cho việc triển khai hoạt động kiểm soát nội bộ trong toàn doanh nghiệp. Có thể nhận thấy, kiểm soát môi trường là nhân tố thiết yếu nhằm cung cấp một sự đảm bảo tương đối về khả năng đạt được mục tiêu của tổ chức, giúp cho doanh nghiệp phát triển một cách bền vững. Thông qua điều tra, khảo sát 98 người (kế toán viên, thành viên của Ban kiểm soát, nhân viên các phòng/ban, Ban giám đốc) đang làm việc tại Công ty cổ phần Giấy Lam Sơn Thanh Hóa (sau đây gọi tắt là Công ty), bài viết phân tích các yếu tố thuộc về kiểm soát môi trường của Công ty, trên cơ sở đó đánh giá và đưa ra một số giải pháp nhằm góp phần hoàn thiện kiểm soát môi trường tại Công ty, để từ đó nâng cao chất lượng thiết lập và vận hành kiểm soát nội bộ của Công ty.
