The fourth industrial revolutions (Industry 4.0) has been changing the way people live, work and interact with each other. The most profound transformations take place in the field of employment, which then spread to other areas of life. So far, analyses of the Industry 4.0 have mainly focused on technological transformation and economic impacts, leaving social dimensions with inadequate attention. The article analyzes some aspects of social transformation in the Industry 4.0 era, such as employment, inequality, aging population and social networks.
