Background: This study was done to evaluate the role of laparoscopic appendectomy with one incision and two trocars for treatment of acute appendicitis. Method: Descriptive, retrospective, prospective study, no comparison. Results: 32 patients was applied laparoscopic appendectomy with one incision and two trocars. Average age was 31 years old. Operating time: 25 +/- 7 minutes, the during time of hospital stay after operation: 3 days. No case was added trocar or was reversed to open surgery. The rate of complication was 3.12 percent (infection of incision). No accident, no death. Conclusion: Laparoscopic appendectomy with one incision and two trocars was a safe, effective method for treatment of acute appendicitis.
