Objectives: To analyze the results and complications of the infrahyoid flap in reconstructing the oral defect. Methods: 10 patients with tongue carcinoma resected and reconstructed with infrahyoid myocutaneous flap. Results: 1 skin flap necrosis. All tracheal tubes and feeding tubes were removed successfully. Conclusions: Infrahyoid myocutaneous flap is a versatile, thin flap to reconstruct the tongue after tumor resection. Its use for oral cavity defects provides favorable cosmetic and functional outcomes.
