Purpose: Assess the value of early diagnosis of nasopharyngeal cancer, laryngeal cancer, hypopharyngeal cancer with Narrowband imaging (NBI). Subjects and Methods: 18 patients with nasopharyngeal cancer, laryngeal cancer, hypopharyngeal cancer in 2358 patients who were examined by NBI at National hospital of otorhinolaryngology from 05/2015 to 09/2015. Cross-sectional descriptive study. Results: Rate of early detection: nasopharyngeal cancer stage T1 7/7 patients (100 percent). Laryngeal cancer stage T1 6/8 patients (75 percent). Hypopharyngeal cancer are not detected at an early stage. Time detection :s 3 months: nasopharyngeal cancer: 85.7 percent, laryngeal cancer: 75 percent, hypopharyngeal cancer: 100 percent. All 3 types of cancer: 83.3 percent. Images of nasopharyngeal cancer with NBI: mucosal surface smooth, brown heterogeneous and may have cyan. It is evident tumors, tumor surface is brown heterogeneous and mixes cyan areas... particularly the authors can see evidence of periphery vascular tumor proliferation, which partly determine the direction of the spread tumor. Images of laryngeal cancer with NBI: change of tumor surface color and small capillaries and arteries proliferation have brown grainy, the color of cyan veins beneath the lining. Images of hypopharyngeal: not detect early, only identify tumor boundary. Conclusions: Endoscopy with short wavelength is very valuable in the early diagnosis of nasopharyngeal cancer, laryngeal cancer. Images of nasopharyngeal cancer: mucosal surface smooth, brown heterogeneous, cyan, brown heterogeneous with cyan areas... particularly the authors can see evidence of periphery vascular tumor proliferation, which partially determine the direction extending of tumors. Images of laryngeal cancer: change of tumor color and small capillaries and arteries proliferation have brown grainy, the color of cyan veins beneath the lining. Images of hypopharyngeal cancer: not detect early, only indentify tumor boundary.
