 In communication, Chinese and Vietnamese often pay much attention to using the words to show respect or politeness such as Qing in Chinese and "Moi" in Vietnamese. There are clear-cut differences and similarities between Qing and "Moi" in two languages
  therefore, this paper aims to identify these differences and similarities. The ultimate goal of this paper is to give a few recommendations to improve the effectiveness of teaching Chinese to Vietnamese.
