OBJECTIVE: To analyse the associations between renal function and clinical laboratory indicators and explore the renal function abnormality risk factors for gout patients in Southwest China. METHODS: Outpatient and hospitalized gout patients ( RESULTS: Sex, age, absolute lymphocyte count (ALC), cystatin C (CysC), homocysteine (Hcy) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) were associated with renal function abnormalities ( CONCLUSION: ALC and levels of TSH and serum Cys could be used for monitoring for abnormal renal function in patients with gout.
