Effects of Bacillus Weaner (BW) containing Bacillus spores on growth and some intestinal bacteria number of the post-weaning piglets were assessed in this study. The studied result showed that BW did not affect the growth of pig, but reduced FCR, rate and duration of diarrhea. In addition, when feeding the piglets with BW supplemented diet, BW did not make the change of Clostridium perfringens and Escherichia coli numbers in duodenum, jejunum, cecum, colon and rectum of the piglets, but Lactobacillus number and total aerobic bacteria were increased in duodenum, jejunum, colon of the piglets. The result of this study can be considered as supportive evidences for supplementing BW in feed for the post-weaning piglets.Tác dụng của chế phẩm Bacillus Weaner (BW) chứa vi khuẩn Bacillus dạng bào tử chịu nhiệt đến sinh trưởng và số lượng của một số vi khuẩn đường ruột ở lợn con sau cai sữa đã được đánh giá trong nghiên cứu này. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy BW không ảnh hưởng đến sinh trưởng, nhưng cải thiện hệ số chuyển hóa thức ăn của lợn
giảm tỷ lệ lợn mắc bệnh tiêu chảy và tổng số ngày tiêu chảy. BW không làm thay đổi số lượng vi khuẩn Clostridium perfringens và Escherichia coli trong mẫu chất chứa tá tràng, không tràng, kết tràng và trực tràng
làm tăng số lượng Lactobacillus và tổng số vi khuẩn hiếu khí trong chất chứa tá tràng, không tràng, kết tràng. Kết quả nghiên cứu này có thể là căn cứ để bổ sung BW vào thức ăn cho lợn con sau cai sữa.
