In recent years, essential oils are studied and applied in many fields. In this study, the chemical composition and antibacterial activity of Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) of four essential oil singles including lemongrass, orange, jasmine, and cinnamon essential oils, and their mixtures are studied. The results show that the cinnamon oil and its mixture (lemongrass/jasmine/cinnamon = 30/60/10 (ratio % v/v)) have the best activity against S. aureus. It proves the application potential of mixed essential oil and essential oil single in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.Tinh dầu ngày nay được nghiên cứu và sử dụng trong nhiều lĩnh vực. Bài viết nhằm nghiên cứu thành phần hóa học và hoạt tính kháng khuẩn Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) của 4 loại tinh dầu dạng đơn lẻ gồm sả chanh, cam, lài, quế và hỗn hợp của chúng. Kết quả cho thấy, tinh dầu quế và hỗn hợp (sả chanh/lài/quế = 30/60/10 (tỷ lệ % v/v)) thể hiện hoạt tính kháng S. aureus tốt nhất. Từ đó cho thấy tiềm năng sử dụng tinh dầu đơn và hỗn hợp trong ngành Dược phẩm và Mỹ phẩm.
