Currently in Vietnam, the environment is under great pressure caused by production, business and human activities. That poses many challenges in environmental protection. In environmental protection, social organizations play an important role not only to raise awareness and promote environmental protection for the community, but also to monitor and criticize environmental policies. In this article, the author explains more about the characteristics and activities of social organizations in environmental protection in Vietnam today.Hiện nay tại Việt Nam, môi trường đang gặp áp lực rất lớn do các hoạt động sản xuất, kinh doanh và sinh hoạt của con người gây ra. Điều đó đặt ra nhiều thách thức trong bảo vệ môi trường. Trong bảo vệ môi trường, các tổ chức xã hội đóng vai trò quan trọng không chi góp phần nâng cao nhận thức và thúc đẩy hách nhiệm bảo vệ môi trường cho cộng đồng, mà còn giám sát, phản biện tư vấn các chính sách môi trường. Trong bài viết này, tác giả luận giải làm rõ thêm về đặc điểm, hoạt động của các tổ chức xã hội trong bảo vệ môi trường ở Việt Nam hiện nay.
