Three field surveys were conducted in the Kon Ka Kinh National Park, Gia Lai province in 2011 and 2012. A total of 81 species were recorded from this national park, comprising 37 species of reptiles and 44 species of amphibians. Among them 18 species are globally or nationally threatened: 9 species are listed in the Red Data Book of Vietnam (2007), 12 species are listed in the IUCN Red List (2012), and 6 species are listed in the Governmental Decree No. 32/2006/ND-CP (2006). In this study, the authors reported 17 species for the first time from Gia Lai province and 48 additional species to the species list of the Kon Ka Kinh National Park of Nguyen Van Sang (1999). Remarkably, Ichthyophis nguyenorum, a newly described species of Asian caecilians from Kon Tum province in 2012, was recorded for the first time from Gia Lai province.
