The authors carried out the investigations on the bird species were hunted and traded in Dong Thap province for two years 2012 and 2013. A total of 46 bird species were recorded belonging to 22 families and 10 orders. Three species making up 6.52 percent are rare, endangered and have conservation value were recorded in Red Data Book of Vietnam (2007), in IUCN's Red List (2006), in Asia Red Data Book-BirdLife (2006) and in the Govemment's Decree No.32/CPI2006.
