Six field surveys were conducted in Binh Chau-Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve from August 2011 to May 2012. Fifty one species of herpetofauna have been recorded including 15 species of amphibians and 36 species of reptile. The research has supplemented the species composition of amphibian and reptile in Binh Chau-Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve with 5 amphibian species and 11 reptile species, so the species composition of the Nature Reserve is now includes 75 species with 20 amphibian species and 55 reptile species and there are 18 reptile species being threatened of extiction. Because the area of the Nature Reserve is small and there is a lot of impacts, many species of herpetofauna in the Nature Reserve are endangered. Therefore, prevention of the impacts and conservation of 18 endangered species should be of high priority.
