The surveys on the bird composition of Huong Son special use forest were carried out in August and November 2010 and April 2013. A total of 98 bird species belonging to 33 families, 11 orders were recorded in Huong Son special use forest. Among 98 bird species were recorded, there are 4 species were listed in the Governmental Decree No.32/2006/ND-CP (2006), one species was listed in the Red Data Book of Vietnam (2007).
