The study on terrestrial vertebrate fauna in K9 Cultural and Historical Site was carried out on February and May 2008
on April 2013. A total of 128 vertebrate species belonging to 54 families, 18 order, 4 classes were recorded. Among 128 recorded species there are 12 species listed in the Governmental Decree No.32/2006/ND-CP (2006), 9 species listed in the Red Data Book of Vietnam (2007) and one species was listed in the IUCN's Red List (2012).
