Composition of water birds in Tram Chim National Park is diversed and rich. The survey results were recorded 89 species belonging to 21 families, and 9 orders. Among them, order Charadriiformes has the biggest number of the families and species (5 families (23.80 percent) and 30 species (33.70 percent). 20 species (22.47 percent) from 89 species recorded are rare and endangered species and has conservation significance for the region and the world. There are 49 species of nesting settlements, 35 migratory species (39.32 percent), 4 species roam or fly over on the way migration (4.49 percent) and status of 1 species is not clearly defined (1.12 percent), 21 are species (c), 13 species are (fc), 29 species are (o), 15 species are (r).
