The paper presents research methodology and result of measurement features, morphological characteristics of female students' bodies age 17 in Hanoi. The study results showed that: Three key dimensions are body height, chest girth 2 and hips girth
Body sizes are generally larger than the Atlas statistics from Vietnam anthropometric of 1986
Height of female students age 17 in Hanoi are now 4cm 4.5cm higher than height of working age in 1986 4cm - 4.5cm
Neck increased by 3.1cm - 3.62cm
Hips increased by 3.99cm - 4.12cm
Three key dimensions are height, bust and hips, building 6 regression equations of the relationship between waist height, shoulder-joint angle height, shoulder point height, gluteal furrow point height, neck girth, waist girth with 3 key dimensions
neck part of female students has horizontal elliptical shape
Chest and back parts developed normally without being hunched or hyperextension, the waist and hips grew quite significantly in thickness. The results of this study are useful data for the design of standard mannequins and correcting clothing design formula in garment manufacturing industry.
