Black garlic contains high levels of organosulphur compounds, such as water-soluble S-allylcysteine (SAC) which is believed has potential anticancer effect In this sbJdy, the authors investigated anticancer effect of SAC and black garlic extract on MCF-7 cell line. The data indicated that the MCF-7 cancer cells were inhibited at 1000mM of SAC and 0.25mM, 0.5mM and lmM of black garlic extract.
