This study was carried out on 84 patients with multiple sclerosis in Bach Mai hospital in order to investigate some disorders of motor and sensory function and the index changes in biochemical cerebrospinal fluid and Megnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in multiple sclerosis. By using the cross-sectional research, it resulted: Oinical symptoms of multiple sclerosis consist of: - 64,3 percent of the patients (54/84 patients) had the ~mptom of disorders of motor Ifunction, in which the highest percentage of the patients who were paralysed in half of their bodies (30.9 percent) . - 75/84 of the patients (89,3 percent) had reduced eyesight in one or two eyes, the patients had disorder of somato sensory such as paralysis'sensation 39,3 percent. The areas of brain injuries seen in MRI were in lateral ventricles {67,9 percent),in optic chiasmal optic nerve (63,1 percent), in the white area (46,4 percent). These appeared less often than those in the centre, marrow, cerebellum of the brain. The cerebrospinal fluid had increased IgG index of 58,5 percent, the cells 50 cellsl mni3 increased to 10,8 percent and the protein 1g/l increased to 30,8 percent. The patients who had symptoms of disorders of motor and somato sensory function, eyesights mainly had injuries in lateral ventricles and optic chiasmal optic nerve accounted for 50 - 83,3 percent, which was much higher than other places in MRI.
