Objectives: to evaluate dento-facial morphology in complete unilateral cleft lip and palate (UCLP) patients.Method: 85 patients with complete unilaterral cleft lip and palate were cephalometrically evaluated. Individuals were treated with primary lip and palate and had no history of orthodontic/orthopedic treatment. Lateral cephalograms taken before orthodontic treatment were analyzed 27 variables. Resultes: skeletal class III relationship (ANB, WITS), posterior positioning of the maxilla (SNA, WITS, A to N-perp) and mandible (SNB,Wits), a hyperdivergent pattern (gonial angle, mandibular plane...), increased interincisal angle (U1-L1), reduced U1-SN angle and L1-MP angle. Conclusion: UCLP demonstrated skeletal class III, facial vertical growth, retrusion of the maxilla and mandible, lingually inclined maxillary and mandibular incisors.
