Aims: endoscopy, histology characteristics of colorectal polyps with size larger than 10 mm. The ratio of antigen gen manifestation (p53, Ki67, Her-2/neu) in colorectal polyps with size larger than 10 mm. Subjects and Methods: Cross- sectional descriptive study was conducted from 2010 to 2013. Endoscopy, histology and immunohistochemistry were performed In 55 patients with colorectal polyps size larger than 10 mm. Clinical data, endoscopy and histology of patients diagnosed with colorectal polyp was recorded as a sample of clinical record research. Endoscopy: The average number of polyp per patient was 1.98 + or - 1.33
polyp alone 50.9 percent. Position of Sigmoid colon 40 percent
rectum 32.7 percent
pediculated polyp 30.9 percent
semi- pediculated polyp 30.9 percent
flat polyp 38.2 percent. Size: 10 -15 mm, 15 to 20 mm, larger than 20 mm is in accordance to a percentage of 60 percent, 20 percent, 20 percent, respectively. The average size: 17.13 + or - 7.38 mm. Histopathology: Tubular 40.0 percent, Villous 3.6 percent. Dysphasia 74.5 percent. Cancer Polyp 18.2 percent. Immunohistochemistry: The rati9 of p53, Ki67 and Her-2/neu positive in 55 patients: 12.7 percent, 61.8 percent and 3.6 percent, respectively. The ratio of p53, Ki67 and Her-2/neu in 10 cancer patients with polyps of the corresponding proportion was 70 percent, 90 percent and 20 percent. Conclusion: The ratio of colorectal polyp cancer at polyps with size larger than 1mm accounted 9.8 percent, and the ratio of over-manifested protein p53, Ki67, Heu-2/neu increased signifinicantly compared with adenomatous polyps.
