Study was conducted in 190 health workers (HWs) in Dong Da hospital to assess changes in knowledge, attitude and percentage of hand hygiene compliance before and after implementing intervention to enhance compliance with hand hygiene. Results showed that, knowledge of hand hygiene change significantly after the preventions (59.9 percent vs 82.5 percent, p0.05). Before and after preventions, Nurses have better knowledge than doctors. Most HWs have positive attitude with hand hygiene (94.2 percent and 97.5 percent). However, hand hygiene compliance has no change after interventing (53.1 percent vs 60.4 percent, p0.05).
