The purpose of this study is to identify the mutation rate of KRAS and BRAF gene in colon cancer patients using sequencing and scorpion ARMS methods
assessing the relationship between KRAS, BRAF muation with clinical symptoms of colon cancer patients. 42 colon cancer patients were selected for this study. Cancer tissues of patients were taken for mutation analysis. KRAS, BRAF genes were analyzed the mutation using sequencing and scorpion ARMS methods
observation and assessing the relationship between KRAS, BRAF mutation with clinical symptoms of colon cancer patients. The results showed that 14/42 (33,3 percent) of colon cancer patients had Gly12Asp, Gly12Vai and Gly13Asp mutation in codon 12 and 13 of KRAS gene
2/42 (4,8 percent) of colon cancer patients had V600F mutation in BRAF gene. The authors failured to find any relationship between KRAS, BRAF muation with clinical symptoms of colon cancer patients.
