Pandemic influenza in humans tends to flare up again at global context (influenza A/H5Nl and H1N1 and H7N9 strains) and threat to public health. The response in the pandemic influenza is most concerned today. Cross-sectional study was carried out in 02 provincial hospitals and 04 district hospitals in the province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau. The results indicated that 100 percent hospitals have full set up facilities for influenza prevention, the rate of hospital can use four potential clinical wards to receive patients in case of pandemic influenza was 16.7 percent , two potential clinical use is 66.7 percent, 100 percent of hospitals are equipped with mobile X-ray machine, and 83.3 percent had ventilator. Interviews with 385 health staff have resulted in 74.3 percent correct pademic influenza prevention knowledge and 58.7 percent had right practice. Pademic influenza prevention practice of health staff working in provincial hospitals is higher than the district level, the practice of staff in the treatment departments is higher than in other departments.
