A study on 292 HIV cases which were tested for HBsAg and Anti-HCV at Military Hospital No.103 showed 13 percent of HBV/HIV co-infection, 23 percent of HCV/HIV co. infection, 3 percent of HBV/HCV/HIV co-infection, in which 88.6 percent were male and 11.4 percent were female. Incidence of HBV, HCV, HIV co-infection was observed at all ages but prevalent between 30-39 years old, which accounted for 46.5 percent. The major route of transmission of HCV/HIV co-infection was drug injection.
