A cross section study with the participation of 50 women who deliver and/or pregnancy management during pregnancy to examine the presence of Fetal Fibronectin in cervical fluid and related factors in pregnant women laboring at the Central Obstetrics Hospital, 2014. The study results showed a positive rate reached 96.0 percent and negative FFN accounted for 4.0 percent. Positive rate reached 100.0 percent in the womengroup with the first labor, while the positive rate of only 92.6 percent in the group of equal or more than 2 labors. FFN-positive in the age group of 25-34 reached the highest value (94.4 percent). Group of gestational age 38-39 weeks to achieve the highest rate of a positive FFN (94.7 percent). Average duration of labor for women with positive FFN test in this study was 6.06 percent 5.83 versus 4.75 percent 1.77 for negative FFN (p 0.05). FFN testing of pregnant women in labor is positive and the negative case does not make sense when there has been a real labor. The presence of FFN did not depend on factors such as maternal age, gestational age of labor and parity. FFN did not show the effect on the duration of labor of women.
