This paper presented research results on application of ion exchange resin XAD7, IRC748, Lewatit207, Chelex 100 and ion exchange membrane P81 as metal binding agents in diffusive gradients in thin films technique (DGT) for the in-situ determination of labile Crom in water. Working performance of DGT using the material types was evaluated for determination of labile Cr(lll) and Cr(VI) standard solutions. The results showed that of the investigated materials, only ion exchange membrane P81 could be used as a replacement for Chelex 100 in DGT technique for the determination of labile Cr. Using this DGT technique, both of Cr(lll) and Cr(VI) could be in situ determined.
