South Central area with four species of sea turtles live in the ecosystem of coral reefs, seagrass and reproduce on several beaches along the coast, including the species: Green turtles (Chelonia mydas), Hawksbill turtles (Eretmochelys imbricata), Leatherbacks (Dermochelys coriacea) and the Loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta). In which, Green turtles are the most common species and is still breeding in some beaches in the area, Hawksbill turtles and Leatherbacks turtle had been reproduced but very limited quantities, currently almost no appear on the sand, Loggerhead turtle rarely appeared in the area and did not go ashore to breed. The serious decrease in the number of sea turtles in the area are caused'mainly by human, including the exploitation of intentional and unintentional catch. In addition, the development. of infrastructure, urban expansion, tourism and mining at the beach is also the cause of the decrease in breeding populations of sea turtles in the area.
