Thirty bacteria strains were isolated from seaweeds, 15 bacteria strains were isolated from marine invertebrates and 6 bacteria strains were isolated from seawater in the East Sea of Vietnam. The substrate were used to screen marine microorganisms produce enzymes that degrade polysaccharite are Fucoidan from Sargassum mcclurei, Sargassum polycystum of Vietnam and Fucus evanescens of Russia, laminaran from Laminaria cichorioides seaweed and polymanuronic acid from fucus evanescens of Russia. Eight bacteria strains were found to contain filcoidanase, 12 bacteria strains produced enzyme that degrade polymanuronic and 30 bacteria strains contained laminarinase in total 51 isolated strains.
