Objective: Study of the relationship between a number of major clinical symptoms and the liver enzymes tests of pregnant women with severe preeclampsia. Subject and method: Retrospective, described 244 women diagnosed with severe preeclampsia, having cesarean section at the national hospital of obstetrics and gynecology from 01/2011 to 06/2012. Result: Hypertension level or = 2, severe edema group, headache, blurred vision, epigastric pain, oliguria has liver enzymes or = 70 UI/I increases differently compared with control group, p0.05. Compared with group that appeared 1 random clinical symptom, the group that appeared 2 random clinical symptoms, liver enzymes or = 70 g/I increase of 3.5 times. The group that appeared 3 random clinical symptoms increased 3.75 times and the group that appeared 4 random clinical symptoms increased 5.47 times. The difference is statistically significant with p0.05. Conclusion: The number and severity of major clinical symptoms of preeclampsia may be associated SGOT and SGPT concentrations.
