In the past, the marriage of Muong people experienced several stages with complex rituals, and spent a lot of money. The first stage of marriage was that the groom's family selected a person as a matchmaker called "chon mo", then discussed the date "khao thieng" to enter the stage "ti nom banh" called "di bo trau", "ti chau" as the first wedding and "ti du" called "le don dau".
