 This article presents some results obtained from design and trial fabrication of torque transducer based on the principle of measuring the deformation of a shaft as torque applied by the strain gauges attached to the shaft. The article also systematically presents the theoretical basis for torsional shaft - designing problems, specification in choosing strain gauge, experimental design
  conducting and calibrating methods to construct the characteristics of torque transducer after fabricating.
